Chapter 41: Intruders  

Peter's POV: 

The four of us decided to split up to look for Tessa and Serena.It was quite strange that fog had appeared today, since the weather was predicted to be clear.Nate kept his nose on high alert for Molly's scent.

He caught a whiff of Molly's scent and followed it until it grew stronger.

Suddenly, the scent of blood also filled his nose.

She groaned in pain and slowly opened her eyes to look at me.

She coughed before falling back into unconsciousness.

"Serena, you did a good job.I'm so sorry we couldn't find you sooner."

I suddenly noticed about eight corpses lying around us.My sense of smell told me that they weren't werewolves at all.They all had a smell of blood that made me want to throw up.

"Alvin, how's Tessa? Is she okay?"

"She's still breathing.We need to go back immediately.Soon, David and Anita arrived, too.

"Alpha, Beta, I checked on the bodies.No one is alive.They're all dead now." David stood among the corpses.

"Alpha, Beta, you both go ahead and take the girls to the hospital.I will arrange for someone to deal with these bodies.After that, I'll wait for your further instruction." I admired Anita for keeping a level head during critical situations.
