I’m sitting here on the front porch, getting in a little time to myself with a good romance book in my hand, but all I can think about is the last few months. I thought we were going to be a poor pack until we were able to get our feet back under us, but after a lot of badgering, my Beta got me to pay the bank a visit. Declan tried calling me after the first deposit, but I still wasn’t ready to talk to him, so I ignored the call, and he hasn’t tried again.

I honestly thought I would have found my mate by now. I’m beginning to think that I was one of the forgotten ones.
