I didn’t raise my head to look at Preston, instead burying my face even more into Jackson.
I could only be a cowa rd and let Preston mock me.
Jackson seemed to sense my fear. The hand on my back patted me gently.
“Don’t worry about him,” he whispered.
After comforting me, he glanced at Preston coldly.
