Before Penelope can respond, Charlie chimed in, “Our contract doesn’t mention shooting regular scenes late into the night. We should’ve talked about this beforehand.”

The assistant director seemed a bit troubled, “Ms. Flanagan, you took a two-week break without letting us know in advance, we need to catch up.”

He turned to Charlie, ‘Charlie, don’t get mad at me. You can take it up with the producer or Gavin. I’m just here to give you the heads-up. Of course, you can choose not to shoot, and then we’ll make the necessary cuts.”

Penelope bit her lip, “Alright, I got it.”

Charlie wanted to say something, but Penelope waved him off, “It’s fine, I can shoot until about midnight tonight.”
