Allison popped open a bottle of wine, poured a glass, and handed it over to Lucian. He downed it in one gulp, then set the glass down. Allison refilled it. This time, he didn’t drink it. Instead, he gripped not only the glass but also her fingers and suddenly yanked her

towards him.

Allison yelped in surprise. The glass slipped from her hand and wine splashed everywhere.
