Chapter 647

She didn’t dare look back.

It was only her and Lysander in the office. Who else could have pressed the button and opened the door?

Once she stepped out of the office, the glass door closed behind her.

She glanced back instinctively, but was met with her sheer reflection from the glass door. She couldn’t see anything inside.

So, it was a one-way glass. From inside, one could see the outside, but from outside, nothing could be seen inside.

No wonder Lysander wasn’t bothered about being seen. She was worried about nothing.

Still despite the false alarm, Thalassa didn’t dare linger and briskly walked away.

A little while after Thalassa had left, David arrived. He rang the doorbell, and the door was promptly opened.

Upon entering and finding no trace of Thalassa, he looked slightly puzzled but didn’t ask any questions.
