Rosalind had grown accustomed to the wave of joy that would wash over Lysander every time she visited Royal Estates. And she also preconceived this belief that she was Lysander's rock, his sole reason for venturing outside.

But today was different. Rosalind panicked in an instant, as if something were slowly slipping away from her hand.

"I'm out discussing business with my executive assistant, so grab some lunch on your own," Lysander spoke with patience.
