Just as they were talking, the bodyguard ushered Dr. Funke into the room.

Dr. Funke was still in his lab coat, having been hauled over before he could even change. Yet, instead of showing any signs of resentment for being dragged in, he wore a mocking smile as he walked into the

room.

"Master," Lydia called out nervously, holding a set of acupuncture needles in her hands.

Seeing Dr. Funke, Thalassa greeted him with a guilty and apologetic tone, "Dr. Funke."
