Georgia had never felt such crushing disappointment before.

She wasn't some spoiled heiress without a shred of dignity!

The reason she had been so persistent with Alaric, wanting to marry him, was simply because he was the first man to ever spark that flutter in her heart. Some people, once you fall for them, letting go seems impossible.
