This remark immediately infuriated Gordon. Just as he was about to question Harper again, Harper had already hung up the phone.
“What’s going on? Did something happen to the urn?” Caitlin hurriedly asked her husband.
“Harper said someone went there late last night and took the urn!” Gordon said.
“They took it? Then what about our 10 million dollars? Without that urn, she won’t give us the money,” Caitlin was getting anxious now. Suddenly, she thought of a possibility. “By the way, do you think that brat was the one who sent someone to
take the urn?”
Gordon frowned and picked up his phone to call Rosalie.
After a while, Rosalie answered, “What is it?”
“Rosalie, I’ve thought it over. After all, we’re family, and blood is thicker than water. If you can’t come up with the full 10 million dollars immediately, you can start by giving half. I’ll tell you where your mother is buried. You and Jonathan are quite close these days, right? This money shouldn’t be a problem for him,” Gordon said, trying to bluff again.
This way, he could still get half of the money if his daughter didn’t take the urn last night. He planned to buy another urn and fill it with fake ashes later to deceive them.

“What’s going on?” Caitlin asked hurriedly. She didn’t hear Jonathan’s words because Gordon’s phone was not on speaker.
“What else could it be? Now that Jonathan is protecting her, that girl has really grown bold!” Gordon said bitterly. His eldest daughter had a strong backer, but he couldn’t gain anything from it. That was what frustrated him the most.
If Gordon had known that his daughter had such capabilities, he would have treated her better from the beginning, but now it was too late for regrets.
Hearing her husband’s words, Caitlin couldn’t help but sarcastically remark, “She’s someone who’s been to prison. How did she catch Jonathan’s eye? And she’s the one who accidentally killed Jonathan’s fiancée!”
“How am I supposed to know that?” Gordon said angrily.

Gordon’s mood improved as he thought of Loretta. Now, all his hopes were pinned on their younger daughter.
On the other hand, Jonathan returned his phone to Rosalie. A hint of coldness flashed in his eyes. “What kind of outcome do you hope for your father?”
He asked with a smile, but she understood the underlying threat in his gaze.
Instantly, Rosalie understood that whatever kind of fate she wished for her father at this moment, Jonathan would likely fulfill it,
