Whenever work ramped up at the office, Dorothy could easily forget about her prenatal appointments.

Thankfully, Everett had them etched in his mind like they were written in stone. As soon as the clock reminded him, he wouldn't miss it for the world!

Right after her meeting wrapped up and she returned to her office, there he was, waiting on the couch with a prenatal visit bag in hand. It contained her maternity handbook, a blood pressure cuff, and more. "Finished with your meetings, Ms. Sanchez?"

"... Yeah." Dorothy nodded, catching the playful tone in his voice and giving a small, amused smile, "I totally forgot about it!"

He had reminded her just last night, but come morning, with a minor hiccup in one of the projects, she was all hands on deck and the 9 AM prenatal appointment slipped her mind.

"I've rescheduled it for 10:30. We can still make it if we leave now."

Everett was just worried about her neglecting the prenatal care, not really mad at her.

But...

"Can we possibly move it to tomorrow? I've got a meeting with our partners soon! It's all set."

When she was pregnant with Abigail and Langston, Dorothy hardly ever made it to her appointments on time. It was usually the clinic calling to remind her before she'd squeeze in a visit.
