Felicity's comment was meant as a casual jest, but Miles' silence cast an awkward pall over the conversation.

After an uncomfortable lull, Felicity widened her eyes and stammered, "You... you can't possibly tell me that... that was your only time, right?" After all, he was nearly in his thirties!

Having spent years abroad, Felicity was no stranger to the party scene and had naturally assumed that Miles was experienced with numerous women.

Yet, now, seeing him silent, she was taken aback.

"How can you be so casual about this?" Miles finally spoke, irritation lacing his tone. "Felicity, do you understand what this means? It's something that's meant for married couples!" She nodded earnestly, "I didn't understand before, but I do now."

Felicity examined him before whispering, "Don't you ever think about it?"

"Felicity!"

"Langston, you're not... there's nothing wrong with you, is there?" she asked, her gaze darting toward his midsection.

Miles immediately covered her eyes and pushed her back into the car seat!
