After leaving the boutique, Felicity hailed a taxi and asked the driver to drop her off at a nearby park.

She powered off her phone and sat alone on a bench.

She watched as people passed by - children playing, elderly couples strolling, and young lovers laughing hand in hand.

Suddenly, Felicity found herself missing her days in Anglonia.

Even though she was far from her parents, she had a wealth of friends there, including Calvin and many colleagues, not to mention a mentor at work who looked after her. After work, they would gather for dinners, share the latest gossip, or go out for shopping trips and picnics.

It seemed... back then, she rarely found herself thinking about Miles.

But since returning home, news of him seemed to permeate her life, stirring thoughts of romance she hadn't dwelled on before.

Felicity didn't stay on the bench for long before turning her phone back on.

After all, she knew it was futile to try and hide from Miles; if he wanted to find her, he could do so easily.

Perhaps... he was even on his way to the park right now.
