Now, everything had changed, and Craig felt like he'd lost everything he once held dear.

Besides thinking "serves me right," Craig couldn't find the words to curse himself. Aurora watched him open the door and walk out, disappearing from view entirely.

Her eyes brimmed with tears she could no longer hold back, and soon they rolled down her cheeks like raindrops.

Aurora cried as she wiped her face, but no matter how much she tried, she couldn't dry the tears away completely.
