“Ouch!” Shantelle suddenly cried in pain. She was holding her stomach as she sat up from the bed at night. 1

She and her family were still at the lakehouse. They were supposed to return to Rose Hills that afternoon, but because the kids were exhausted from either playing, swimming, or hiking, Evan and Kaleb agreed to postpone their return for tomorrow.
