As the sky above Aurous Hill finally began to lighten, the Concorde jet occupied by Charlie and Zoey finally touched down at the Aurous Hill airport.

Originally, not long after their flight had taken off from Beirut, Charlie asked Zoey’s opinion on whether she wanted to meet up with her father yet.

However, after careful consideration, Zoey felt dispirited, she wanted to take a break, a bath, and change her clothes before meeting her father.

So Charlie decided to take Zoey to Shangri-La first to get her settled and let her get a few hours of rest.

After she’d had some time to adjust and let her condition improve, they’d head off to the Aurous Hill University of Finance and Economics and surprise Mr. Riley.

As for himself, Charlie hadn’t expected that he’d be able to rescue Zoey in just over 10 hours and return back to Aurous Hill.

He’d originally called his wife and told her he’d be out of town on a business trip, if he returned early in the morning, it might come off as odd.

Instead, he planned to go to Shangri-La as well, and let Isaac Cameron arrange a room for him to rest for a while.
