When Gideon and Renard emerged from the secret room, the anticipation among the other elders was palpable. They had been eagerly awaiting this moment, not just Renard alone. Their dedication to the pursuit of longevity had kept them bound to this place with unwavering commitment and now Gideon represented their best chance.

As Gideon stepped out, a swarm of people rushed forward, bowing respectfully before him.
