Sebastian's head shot up when he heard that, and he looked upset. "Noelle is acting out, and you're just going along with it? When do you plan to stop putting off the wedding? Don't tell me it's all Noelle's choice. Could Noelle still act this way if you didn't agree?"

Sebastian was still feeling upset from seeing Xavier and Winter earlier. Winter, his granddaughter, had always had everything she could ever want, including plenty of love. "You know I don't care about that stuff, or else I wouldn't have chosen to marry Noelle. But I think she needs a little more time to adjust to everything."

Charles spoke at a steady pace, his confidence shining through. Sebastian, on the other hand, was getting impatient. "What if Noelle just won't listen? Her main issue isn't going away anytime soon. You can't change who you are."

"Grandpa, believe me, it won't be long," Charles replied in a calm yet firm voice. "I don't pick fights I can't win."
