Suzy looked up at Annie's face hesitantly. "Annie, do you resent me for not helping you in time back then?" She was referring to when she and Winter saw those people taking Annie away but did not intervene. "Let's not talk about the past. I wasn't there when you were in trouble either!" Annie patted Suzy's hand. "Come on, let's eat!"

Perhaps because a weight was lifted from her heart, Suzy's mood improved considerably. She ate two full portions of the meal before putting down her cutlery.
