Mateo nodded and helped Clarisse up from the floor, but her gaze remained fixed on Henry. Mateo frowned slightly but said nothing.

After somehow managing to subdue Janet, Henry led them all to the hospital in the middle of the night.

Sean had just finished an operation when he received a call from Mateo summoning him to the hospital.

Seeing Mateo's arm wrapped in bandages, Sean was surprised. "Mr. Mateo, what happened?" He rubbed his eyes, clearly exhausted from back-to-back surgeries. He did not expect to see the Hoffmans at the hospital during New Year's. Sean narrowed his eyes. "Is Charles here too?"

Mateo shook his head. "No, he's not."

"Then, what brings you here?"

"Do you have any mental health specialists in your hospital?" Mateo sighed. "To be honest, this isn't much of a secret. You've known Charlie since you were kids, so you should be familiar with certain things."

Despite his exhaustion, Sean's eyes gleamed with curiosity. There was a faint smile playing on his lips. "I know quite a bit about Charles. What exactly are you referring to, Mr. Mateo?" "Janet."
