Although Charles knew Tania, they rarely interacted. Occasionally, he would help her, but beyond that, there was nothing much between them.

It was only later, when problems arose between Tania and Peter, that Charles got involved. He never expected Tania to leave. It had already been three years.

Charles had sent people to look for her, but it seemed as though every trace of Tania had truly been erased. "I don't know. But it seems it wasn't anyone from the Hoffmans. Aside from his sister, who else does Peter have issues with?"

Steven's question sparked Charles' interest. It was hard for him to believe that someone as prominent as Tania could simply vanish without a trace.
