The Contract Marriage

Chapter 303 All Of The Power Was In Her Hands

Ever since Ruby returned home, she had never returned. So every day, Vivian would follow Julian to the company.

Because of her position as the vice president, many documents in the company were slowly transferred to her hands.

The second day after she became the vice president, Vivian changed the reception room next to the CEO’s office to her own office and told Julian the reason why she did this.

She did not want to disturb Julian all the time, so she arranged an office for herself.

Julian did not care about this kind of thing at all. Every day when he arrived at the company, he would enter his lounge. He would either lie down and sleep, or sit quietly by himself.

Sometimes, when he sat down, it would take him half a day. . .

His mother's death had dealt a huge blow to him. In the past, when Ruby was not by his side, he would think of looking for her. But now, he did not even have this bit of passion.

Julian's decadent attitude made Vivian see the hope of her life.

Seeing Julian hiding in his lounge, she specially asked someone to buy some wine and add some sleeping pills into the wine. Every day when she came to the company, she would give Julian a bottle.

Every time Julian drank less than a third, he would fall asleep on the floor.

Today was the eighteenth day of Daphne's death. It was also half a month after Julian went to work.

In this week's time, Sarah rarely saw Julian's shadow in the villa, because he and Vivian came back very late every day.

Sarah knew that the company was under a lot of pressure, so in the beginning, she did not pay much attention to it. But in half a month's time, Julian actually came back so late every day. Thinking about the car accident, Sarah became a little suspicious.

So after dinner today, after the two children were coaxed to sleep and the rest of the family also went to sleep, Sarah waited in the living room alone for Julian and Vivian to come back.

As time slowly passed, Sarah kept yawning, so she watched a television program to ease her boredom.

When it was 12: 30 in the morning, Sarah finally heard the sound of a car in the yard. She immediately stood up from the sofa and walked to the door of the living room.

The door was opened and Vivian helped Julian out of the car. When she saw Sarah at the door, Vivian felt a little nervous. But thinking about this woman was not her match at all, Vivian reached out to grab Julian's arm and brought him into the living room.

From the moment Julian got out of the car, Sarah felt that something was wrong with him. Seeing his staggering steps, she immediately walked up to him, reached out and supported Julian's other arm.

Before she could open her mouth, she felt the smell of alcohol assailing her face. Sarah looked at Julian and frowned. As she walked, she looked at Vivian and asked, "What's wrong with him? Why is he reeking of alcohol?"

"He drank a little at noon." Vivian answered calmly.

Sarah listened to her and did not continue to ask. She helped Julian up the stairs with Vivian. Once they entered Vivian's bedroom, Julian lied down on the bed. He did not care about the clothes that he was wearing, turned over and fell into a deep sleep.

"Sister-in-law, go to sleep. I will take care of him." Vivian said as she reached out to take off Julian's belt.

Sarah saw her actions and nodded silently. She turned around and walked out of the room.

The moment Sarah walked out, Vivian immediately walked over and pressed the lock. These few days, in order to not let the family see Julian's appearance, she specially came back very late. She even let him sleep in her own room.

These few days before coming back, she would call or send a text message to Hannah every time. But she did not expect that it was already 12: 30 in the morning today and Sarah was still waiting for them in the living room.

She did not know if Julian's appearance had aroused Sarah's suspicion. Vivian felt more or less uneasy in her heart

After breakfast the next day, Vivian brought Julian to the company as usual. Before leaving, she also reminded Hannah to keep an eye on Sarah. If Sarah went out, Hannah must tell herself.

Not long after breakfast, Sarah first fed the two children milk. Seeing that the time was about right, she then greeted her family. She said that she wanted to go to the hospital to see Ethan. Only then did she sit in the car and leave Villa of Cooper Family.

Seeing Sarah's car leave, Hannah immediately went into her room and called Vivian. Hearing that Sarah went to the hospital, Vivian's heart relaxed.

But in order to ensure that there would not be any problems, when Vivian arrived at the company today, she ordered people to take all the bottles away. She even asked Julian to work at the boss's table.

Sarah's car drove for a distance before she let the driver change the road and go to the company. If the previous case of Lucas was really related to Vivian, then she had to be 120% vigilant and go to see how the company was doing now.

The car soon arrived at Cooper Group.

Sarah came out of the car. She did not go directly to Julian's office, but went to the other departments of the company.

She used to be Julian's secretary. That was why many people in the company knew her. Knowing her good temper, they happily chatted with Sarah.

Sarah stayed in Cooper Group for more than two hours. Every time she chatted with a company employee, Sarah discovered a new thing.

Sarah never would have thought that. . . In this short half a month, Vivian had already taken over all of Julian's work. She had also trained some of her capable subordinates in the company. Almost all of the power in the company was in Vivian’s hands!

What made Sarah even more uneasy was that Vivian had been very close to the company's director Dowson Bates during this period of time. And this Dowson Bates had a large number of supporters in Cooper Group!

If it continued like this, the Cooper Group would very likely become Vivian's!

Such an understanding of the situation shocked Sarah!

Sarah walked out of the department and did not go to Julian's office. Instead, she took the elevator and went downstairs, leaving Cooper Group. She got in the car and ordered the driver to drive directly to Wilson Group.

From what Sarah knew just now, although Julian went to the company every day, he didn't deal with work matters.

Sarah could not understand it. In the past, Julian could not see with his eyes, but he still treated work very well. But ever since Daphne's accidental death happened, he could not raise his spirits anymore.

If Vivian took advantage of this time to take advantage of him, the Cooper Group might be in danger.

Now that Christian wasn't at home, Julian was in such a state. If she continued to ignore them, then the Cooper Group might very well be destroyed by Vivian's hands!

No way! Absolutely not!

The car soon arrived at the Wilson Group. Sarah took her bag and quickly walked into the company lobby. When she walked to the elevator, she thought for a while.
