Morning came, and it was time to head to the King’s hall for the hearing. As much as I looked forward to it, I wasn’t enthusiastic about discussing Kyle and Linda’s issue.

“You won’t shock anyone, Moonlight. You need to embrace your features and accept that you are beautiful in a unique way,” I teased, and she giggled and returned to the bathroom. I hoped she went to take off the contacts.
