Corinne’s cheeks felt warm when he called her his ‘wife’. She immediately sat up and said, “I didn’t take a shower last night, so please excuse me while I freshen up.”

Jeremy chuckled as he watched her dash into the bathroom and lock the door. He got up and changed his clothes, too.

After Corinne came out of the shower, Jeremy went in and freshened up as well. The two of them then left the bedroom and went downstairs for breakfast.
