“You look happy. Who are you texting?” asked Lucas while holding a coffee cup after glancing at Jason. They were both in his office.

“No one. I mean, it was one of my employees. He had some questions about work,” said Jason before he quickly put away his phone.

Lucas glanced at him again. “I’m surprised you still have time to drop by my office when you’re so obviously busy with your work.”

Jason picked up his coffee and took a sip before replying, “I wouldn’t say it’s busy work, but it sure is tedious. I’m so annoyed with it, so I came here to hang out with you.”
