Melody certainly felt better about the hardships she endured when she thought like that. Smiling in blissful happiness, she waited for Lucas to come back from the restroom so she could tell him her decision. She was willing to give it a try with him, to start anew.

Ring!

Lucas' phone, which was on the table, suddenly rang.

Melody glanced in the direction of the restroom. Lucas was nowhere in sight, but the phone continued to ring incessantly. People around were already looking her way, so she had no choice but to pick it up.

It was the name on the screen. Strangely enough, Melody felt the name was somewhat familiar.
