Carrie was startled, and the paintbrush in her hand fell to the ground with a sudden thud. The next moment, she watched in wide-eyed horror as a person flew past outside the window. Immediately after, there was a loud crash.

Carrie abruptly stood up from her chair. Her body was stiff as a puppet. She walked step by step to the window and looked down at the scene below. At first glance, her mind went blank in terror. She covered her mouth in shock and staggered back, her legs limp.

It was a sight too horrifying to behold. A girl had fallen to her death, and her limbs were twisted gruesomely. Meanwhile, chaos erupted downstairs and filled the corridor with endless screams.

Carrie's heart pounded like a drum. Without time to process anything, she grabbed her teddy bear from the table and dashed out of the classroom.

Calling out for Yasmin, Carrie ran through the empty corridor, her mind filled with the horrifying image of the girl's tragic death.

Not knowing where she was headed, she heard the frantic footsteps behind her and the desperate cries for help.
