"Though I have to say, Jason Solloway doesn't hold a candle to Mr. Ralph." Paul sneered, "I can't believe Jason fussed about you last night. God knows what has gotten into him." Gregory scowled at the mention of the incident.

"Chairman Salvador, Mr. Ralph seems to have feelings for Ms. Carrie. Maybe it's best to call off the wedding with the Solloways and marry her to the Thompsons. Mr. Justin would probably be happy about the arrangement too."

"My son wants to marry that Thompson girl, and now my daughter could end up with Ralph. Are my choices only limited to the Thompson family?" Gregory slammed the armchair. Paul kept to himself.

Gregory looked out the window in frustration.

Putting aside his differences and personal biases, Gregory believed Mila's son was a better man than Jason.

Heck, Ralph was even superior to Ryan.

Gregory understood that Jason did not have feelings for Carrie. The idea of marriage only came from his parents. However, the look on Ralph's face when he saw Carrie fooled no one. Ralph cared about Carrie.
