Yvonne stared back at him, speechless, tears gathering in her eyes. She clenched her fists tightly as she struggled to contain herself. “Come on, let's play together." Drew sauntered up to her, handing her a sparkler. His eyes shone brighter than all the stars.

Yvonne took it, her hands trembling.

The orphanage was in a remote location, and it was not likely he had purchased something so romantic from somewhere nearby. He must have prepared this in advance.

With a hiss, the sparkler in her hand lit up, and its light flickered across her delicate face. She could not help but smile, looking more and more like the girl in the photograph.

"Last time, there was a fireworks show that stunned the whole city. Did you like it?" Drew suddenly asked, glancing at her.

Yvonne stared into her sparkler, her voice soft. "Yes."

"Even if you enjoyed it, it doesn't matter now. I'm not as rich as Ryan, so I can't afford to spend millions on a grand romantic gesture."
