Neera couldn’t help but burst into laughter at her words.

Neera felt touched to see her friend getting so infuriated on her behalf. She smiled and gestured for her to sit down.

Neera narrowed her eyes. “It was probably Roxanne who spread the rumor. The person that was with me today was Jean. It wasn’t some guy with a pretty face. Don’t worry about it. I already explained the situation to the Beauvort family.”
