When Gwendolyn asked about her face, the young woman cupped her bandaged cheek.

Lastly, and the most important point, is that there’s something about you that just grates on me. I don’t like you, so I don’t have to assess your qualifications.”

Her tone was calm and blunt as if she was talking about the weather.

Nico then chimed in, “Did you hear that? Are you satisfied yet? Now, hurry up and leave.”

Gina had no choice but to turn and leave. When she reached the door, she suddenly looked back and asked with a smirk, “Ms. Harris, are you sure you can be at ease?”
