Cedrick struggled with the dilemma for half a minute.

He first called the police station and inquired about the reason for Gwendolyn’s arrest.

He learned that Gwendolyn was detained in the interrogation room and unable to leave because she had left her bag and phone at Valentino’s villa.

Together with Nico, he set off to the villa.

Feeling bored and frustrated, Gwendolyn felt that the police station was due for a shake-up.

Even though she knew that the police were beholden to the fact that Paul was Ospean royalty and had to do something for the sake of diplomatic relations, the two officers who were supposed to get her stuff from the Jenson residence had taken so long that she felt that they were doing it on purpose.
