Chapter 719

Thanks to Cedrick, the members of the Jenson family were now pigs, and the Jenson residence was a pigsty.

Suppressing a smile, Gwendolyn clutched her children tighter and briskly walked away. She needed to get away from her crazed and silly husband as soon as possible.

That night, at the dinner table, Gwendolyn refused to speak to Cedrick.

She ignored him on purpose in an attempt to torture him a little.

Cedrick was on his best behavior as he did the dishes and dutifully tidied up the kitchen after dinner.

Two hours later, the evening’s harmonious atmosphere came to an end.

Gwendolyn brought the two children to her bedroom and planned for the three of them to sleep together that night.

Nonchalantly, Cedrick trailed behind them with his hands in his pockets and entered the bedroom whilst pretending nothing had happened.

Less than two minutes later, he was chased out of the room by Gwendolyn.

With a thud, the bedroom door slammed shut, isolating him outside.

Cedrick was speechless.

It would not be the first time he was forced to take refuge in the study after being thrown out of the bedroom.

Sighing, he knocked on the door softly. “Darling, quit messing around.”

Shortly after, Gwendolyn’s delicate voice sounded from inside the room. “The bed is too small for the four of us. You can sleep in the study tonight, and we can discuss matters tomorrow morning.”

Cedrick was rendered speechless as a surge of remorse filled his chest. Oh, why did I have to go and bring up Charles…

After all, he was the one who approved of Charles being the children’s godfather. Moreover, since the children were already five years old, there was absolutely no way Charles could even take advantage of the situation.
