It was time for all of them to return home.

Gwendolyn took Zendaya from Charles, and the family of four got into their car and left the oceanarium.

As soon as the car disappeared from sight, Charles turned to Whitney and asked, “I saw you talking to Gwen. What were you two chatting about?”

“Oh, we were talking about you and me,” she replied candidly, observing his reaction.

“Well, I told her about how we first met in Tayhaven and were reunited in Chanaea. We also talked about our last date. She seems to know you very well. She had a lot of nice things to say about you. She hoped that our relationship would grow. That’s all. Are you happy now?”
