Zendaya was still in Charles’ car, and there was no confirmation of Gwendolyn’s situation yet. Cedrick was not going to say a word about it, nor was he going to let Zendaya head to the dangerous Orchidbay Tunnel.

In a calm voice, he said, “She’s fine. I’m going to pick her up. I don’t want her to get anxious from waiting, so I drove a little faster than usual. You should take Zendy to the lab to rendezvous with Nico and Benny first.
