Sophie’s pov

Suddenly I do find that the room is a little hot. And I’m this close to telling him to put the AC on a little higher even though seconds ago a chill run down my spine.

Then again I wasn’t sure if it was because of the coldness of the AC or the stare Aiden pinned me down with.

His gaze is unwavering and they’re piercing through the windows of my soul.

I’m pinching my arms because it feels like he has placed me under his spell. I can’t move, I can’t think properly. I can only just breathe.
