Sylvie giggled in amusement. "You were just trying to kill him, and you're not scared of him already?"

"Actually, I was horrified." The woman flashed a weary smile. "But I'm now getting the feeling he's a good man! That alone sets him above the rest, present company included."

She was being honest too-her colleagues were ready to let Frank have her just because they were worried Frank would lash out in resentment.

Frank was certainly a real gentleman in comparison!

"Actually, I don't have X-ray vision..."
