"W-What do you want?!"

Lambert panicked, as he did not know he had upsetted such a powerful man!

Frank ignored him and slapped him across the face. "Remember-your mom is the one who cares for you the most in the whole wide world! Only she would bother to lecture you, so you'd better listen, or you'll get beaten up outside!"

"I don't need you to tell me!"

Lambert bellowed as he struggled, only to get more slaps because he could not do anything against Frank.

His cheeks were now swollen, and several of his teeth shattered as blood welled up in his mouth!

"Sorry, kid. I apologize on my son's behalf... Please stop hitting him!"

After all, he was her son-no matter how cross she was with him, she would still plead for him.

Frank turned toward her. "Don't you understand why he refused to listen? You should beat him within an inch of his life when he should be disciplined-give both the carrot and stick, as they would say, or he would never change his ways!"

As he finished, he held Lambert's thumb and broke it with just a slight twist!

The bar owner laughed. "Well said, my friend! People like him really deserve a stern reminder!"

Despite being beaten, Lambert remained defiant, even snapping at the bar owner, "This ain't your business! And he'll eventually be gone... and when he is, I'll make you pay! Just you fucking wait!"

Frank chuckled just then and squeezed, breaking Lambert's wrist!

"You were a chef, right? I'll make sure you can't cook for the rest of your life. That's the best you deserve!"

As the terrible agony knocked Lambert sober, he glared ferociously at Frank, shaking even as he tried to fight back... Only for Frank to seize his other hand and break his wrist.

"Mom!" he screamed, truly realizing that Frank was no saint and might go even further. "Help me... He's hurting me! Help me!"

Despite Lambert's fervent pleas, his mother had turned away, keeping her back to her son even as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Frank was right-Lambert needed the pain to understand that he was wrong. Otherwise, he might meet others worse than him who would kill him before he knows it.

Lambert was naturally furious that the mother who always spoiled him was turning her back on him, "You're abandoning your own son?! You'd have your comeuppance!"

Frank laughed. "If you're his son, then why don't you ever listen to her? And now you're begging? Too late!"

Slapping Lambert across the face, he lifted the man and threw him outside the bar.

Then, wheeling on Lambert's friends,

he snapped, "And you! Vandalizing the place just because he asked?!
