The chief of police was named Gabe Wholeton. He used to be Rose’s subordinate and had followed Rose into war with Rebbeca.

Gabe’s time with Rose was shorter than Rebbeca’s, but not because he came later. Gabe had followed Rose earlier than Rebbeca. However, he was severely wounded in a battle five years ago.
