Avery's POV

In a strange way, it almost didn't surprise me that Fiona showed up unannounced. She seemed to have a penchant for it, so it was just par for the course at this point. But what I didn't expect was for her to walk up the front steps with a briefcase dangling from one hand, pushing her sunglasses up on her head, and act like she belonged in this meeting Fiona smiled, either totally oblivious to the fact that none of us had expected for her to show up, or deliberately ignoring it.
