Ellinor chuckled lightly. “What brings you here so early, Bryan?”

Bryan shrugged. “Nothing major. Didn’t we agree yesterday that I would come to the Blanchet family’s house to see you and the kids? I’m still jet-lagged and couldn’t sleep at all last night. I’m tired this morning, but if I sleep now, I’ll never adjust to the local time. So, I figured I’d come over early, wait for you to finish work, and then we could go pick up the kids together.
