After a day and a night of relentless searching, Thaddeus finally discovered where his wife and daughter had taken refuge, and without a moment’s hesitation, he raced to their location.

He found the place where Bertha and their daughter were staying and rang the doorbell.

The bell echoed for a moment before the sound of footsteps could be heard from inside. “Hello.”

It was Lea’s voice.

Assuming that it was the pizza she had ordered, Lea rushed to the door. But upon opening it, she was greeted by the stern face of her father.
