Marissa sighed deeply. “The Wesley family’s daughter, Belinda Wesley, is getting married in a few days, and they’ve invited us. But your grandpa and I aren’t in the best of health, so we thought we might sit this one out. Could you deliver the wedding gift on our behalf? Belinda is Theo’s favorite niece, and with Theo gone, I’m afraid it’s you who’ll have to bear this burden.”
