Balfour parked his car out front and handed the keys to the valet, striding into the living room with a bounce in his step.

He couldn’t help but look forward to seeing the expression on Ivy’s face when she heard he had found the evidence they needed.

“Just back from the office? Why leave Ivy all on her lonesome until now?”
