The nurse finished adjusting the blinds by the window and turned around with a smile upon noticing Ivy stirring.

“Ms. Dunhill, you’re awake! I’m Elara, the nurse responsible for your care during your stay here. I was just about to draw the curtains a bit to let you sleep in longer. Did I wake you with the noise?”
