Regina could barely register Nolan’s words before instinctively ducking behind the sofa, driven by the force of his directive.

With a stride and a swift kick, Nolan launched an attack that nearly landed square on Domingo’s face-if not for the quick reflexes of one of his goons who yanked him out of harm’s way just in time.

Fuming with rage, Domingo had been a big fish in the underworld for years, earning the respect and fear of his peers. No one dared cross him like this.
