“Fandor, now that you have taken the snow lotus, are you confident that you can kill Kawano?” Flaxseed asked him.

However, Fandor shook his head. “I'm not...”

Flaxseed was taken aback. “You're not confident? Then how could you brag and even say you would destroy the shrine? Your boasting is too much!”

“I'm not boasting. I'm not confident in myself, but I'm confident in someone else!” Fandor remarked.

“Who?” Flaxseed asked.

Fandor pointed to Jared. “He can definitely beat Kawano, and with his strength, it shouldn't be a problem even if he attempts to destroy the shrine.”

“Me?” The latter was surprised to hear that. “I'm only at the level of Greater Martial Arts Marquis now. I'm not as strong as you say.”

“You'll reach Martial Arts Saint soon,” Fandor said, tossing the ancient snow lotus to Jared. “With this and other resources, I'm sure you can break through. Once you become a Martial Arts Saint, what's the Watanabe family or the Thousand Crane Shrine to you?”
