Chapter 2493 No Way Back

“Very well. We'll go with you on this rescue mission,” said the elders.

Jared did not refuse. He then proceeded to bring the four elders with him to the third level of the dungeon.

This time, Malphas did not have the guts to follow them all down because he was quite terrified of the four elders. He had never thought that this dungeon held this many peerless experts.

On top of that, they were also people of the Ethereal Realm. Malphas was truly baffled. They had always dreamed of entering Ethereal Realm. Even Tanner had mentioned his desire to access Ethereal Realm himself.

Yet, why is everyone in this dungeon from the Ethereal Realm? What on earth is going on?

Without giving Malphas an explanation, Jared brought the four elders with him to the third level of the dungeon.

Although the third level was also the deepest part of the dungeon, it was still not the worst area. One could see all manner of people detained in the cells, ranging from men, women, and even children.

“Jared? W-What are you doing here?”

Jared had barely entered the third level when he heard someone call out to him.

The voice belonged to Quindon's daughter, Aislin. She recognized Jared since they had met at the Secret Realm Conference before.

“Ms. Yuchamore!” said Jared. When he saw Aislin, he hurried over and added, “I'm here to rescue all of you. Your father sought my help and asked me to set you free.”

“What on earth is happening? Where is my father? Someone brought us over and claimed they were bringing me to him, only to lock us up in here!” replied Aislin.

“It's a long story. I'll save it for after I've rescued you all.”

Having said that, Jared used a great surge of strength to destroy the holding cell.

Very quickly, Jared rescued the family members of the purple-robed emissaries. When they reached the cells on the first level, the four elders of Divine Smithing Sect had already released all the prisoners.

Jared did not stop them. After all, these were enemies of Evil Heart Sect. If anything, they were only going to pose trouble for Evil Heart Sect alone.

A mighty-looking then Jared exited the dungeon with the crowd of people. When the Grand Elder of Divine Smithing Sect felt the atmosphere around him, he furrowed his brows and said, “We have not reached the Ethereal Realm yet. What on earth is happening? How did we end up in the mundane world?”

Jared did not answer him. Instead, he took out Thousands of Miles Away and looked at Aislin before saying, “Ms. Yuchamore, I'm going to use Teleportation Array and send you back to your respective secret realms. Regardless of what happens, you're not to leave your own secret realms so easily.”

After Jared spoke, Thousands of Miles Away began to shimmer as the painting gradually started shifting its appearance.

“I'm not leaving until I find my father! I need to know exactly what's going on!”
