“Jared!”

Both Ghaylen and Viola could not help worrying when they saw Faiyar making a move against Jared and using his ultimate technique to boot.

Although Jared had already accomplished a breakthrough, he had just reached Body Fusion Realm. Faiyar, on the other hand, was a warrior at Third Level Body Fusion Realm and a Demonic Cultivator who possessed demonic fire.

There was still a gap in the two men's cultivation levels. They were worried Jared would not be Faiyar's match.

However, Jared remained as confident as ever, not at all concerned about Faiyar's attack.

“You guys deal with Mr. Erdell. As for this Demonic Cultivator, leave him to me. If I want to kill him, I can do so anytime,” he said with a smile.

“You're simply too damn arrogant, kid! I shall see how you're going to kill me!” Faiyar roared.

In the next heartbeat, flames engulfed Jared.

Despite that sight, Ghaylen and Viola could only turn their eyes to Ebenez. Leaping into the air, they attacked the man in unison.

Since Ebenez had lost Faiyar's help and most of the Demonic Cultivators were dead presently, they had the upper hand against him.

“Kill them all! None of these traitors are allowed to escape!” Viola cried out at the top of her lungs.

Sigurd and Zebediah rushed forward with the disciples of Emerald Cauldron Sect.

In a trice, the sounds of battle rang out once more.

People continued dying, and blood spurted everywhere, staining the ground bright red.

Ebenez's party started losing ground, retreating steadily in the face of the onslaught of Ghaylen, Viola, and the others.

Faiyar used blazing flames to surround Jared. The fire raged, the temperature so blistering that one could hardly breathe.

“I'm going to burn you to ashes today, kid. We shall see how you can continue being so arrogant!” Faiyar declared smugly upon seeing the man trapped in the fire.

“You've only got such paltry fire, yet you want to burn me to ashes? How weak! Make it stronger!” Jared said playfully.

“Fine. Since you still dare act egotistically, I'll give you a taste of demonic fire's might!”

Faiyar flicked his hands incessantly. The flames began to rage, and the temperature around Jared grew increasingly higher.

That was precisely the effect Jared wanted. He had refined a wisp of demonic fire earlier, but it was too little. If he wanted to intensify the power of the demonic fire within him, he needed to absorb more externally to strengthen it.

He had deliberately provoked Faiyar so that he would unleash all the demonic fire he had.

As Jared sensed the fire around him, the mark that resembled a black flame in his elixir field started to flicker unceasingly.

The demonic fire around him formed a mini vortex, absorbed as energy by the wisp of demonic fire within him.
