Chapter 111
Grace remained silent for a few seconds before saying, “Alright, I understand.”
Hasn’t the old fox, Greg, driven Edgar out of Frant City, according to Jade?
He came back so quickly. She thought to herself and subconsciously glanced at the man, who was still mopping the floor.
The man had broad shoulders and a narrow waist, wearing a white shirt and black trousers-an unexpectedly harmonious combination.
From Frant City’s top boss to a young male ser vant, he adapted very quickly. Grace even began to suspect that he had experienced similar things before. Or perhaps he had undergone inhuman training?
Despite doing something very humiliating, he still exuded an air of dignity, as if it were ingrained in his bones.
Moreover, Grace noticed that, due to his tall stature, he could only kneel with his legs curled up while mopping the floor. After just a short while, it seemed like he was sweating again, and there were traces of blood on his thin lips.
It seemed that this posture… not only exhausted him but also caused pain?
His waist…
Grace walked over and spoke in a calm tone. “Stop mopping for now; we’ll resume later. Come with me to the company.”
After she finished speaking, she turned and walked away. As she turned around, she caught a glimpse of someone seeming to exhale in relief.
And when he stood up, he intentionally supported his right side of the waist and quietly rubbed his knee.
Grace didn’t say anything, calmly withdrew her gaze, and took the lead in leaving. Edgar silently followed her into the car.
The Fallen Group
Just as they reached the entrance to the CEO’s office, the door wasn’t completely closed, and a small gap remained.
The arrogant voice of Greg, that old fox, could be heard.
“Call and ask where she is? Hurry up and come see me! The Fallen family hasn’t been wiped out yet; when is it her turn, a divorced woman, to manage…
Grace stood at the door and listened for a while, then turned to ask Edgar, “What should I do when 1 go in later?”

Edgar nodded and said, “Tell the truth.”
Upon receiving the answer, Grace was satisfied, withdrew her gaze, pushed open the door, and walked in, looking at the person sitting on the guest sofa.
“Master Fallen, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other. Your fiery temper hasn’t changed a bit; no wonder Grandfather couldn’t rest assured and hand over the Fallen family to you.”
This statement hit the nail on the head and struck deep into Greg’s heart.
When Grace mentioned it, his face instantly turned green with anger. He felt unappreciated by his
father, and this had always made him resentful.
“How do you speak to your elders?”
Grace calmly sat on the sofa opposite him, her expression indifferent, and sneered, ‘Respect is indeed due to elders who are gentle and polite. But do you qualify?”
“You!”
Greg glared at her, his mustache almost twitching.
Even though both of them were sitting, Grace’s calm and composed demeanor made Greg visibly shorter in terms of aura.
As Greg was about to continue berating her, he caught sight of a familiar figure standing beside her out of the corner of his eye.
Upon closer inspection, wasn’t that Edgar, who had been missing for some time?
“Edgar, when did you come back? Since you’re already back, why did you allow this woman to snat ch away the Fallen Family?”
Edgar stated expressionlessly, “Uncle, I only returned yesterday afternoon, and when I came back, everything had already been settled.”
“Settled my foot!”
Greg angrily slammed the tea table: “With the 40% shares that Grandfather gave you, plus your many years of running the Fallen Group, you hold significant authority among the shareholders. How could you allow this woman to take the position of the person in power?”
Edgar explained, “Uncle, aside from your 15%, she has acquired all the other sca ttered shares of the company. There are no other shareholders, and she is the largest shareholder of the Fallen Group.”
“What?”
Greg was suspicious. How was this different from what Jade had described?
Belinda, who was standing next to them, astutely placed the share register on the tea table.
Greg carefully reviewed it, and his face turned as dark as the bottom of a pot.
Yesterday, when he was not in Frant City, if Edgar hadn’t returned, she would indeed have been able to take charge of the company. However… he had been yearning for the position of the person in power for so many years. He couldn’t let this woman, an outsider, take it so easily.
His eyes shifted, and he looked at Edgar, who was standing there.
“Why are you standing there doing nothing? As the second largest shareholder of the company,
come and sit here.”
Grace also glanced at Edgar.
He pressed his lips together without answering, keeping his head lowered, resembling a proud lion. whose claws had been dulled.
Grace was pleased with his obedient appearance and looked back at Greg, explaining with a smile, “I’ll speak for him. Because he is currently my ser vant, in conversations between masters, he is naturally only qualified to stand.”
Greg stared at them in disbelief, observing the interaction between Grace and Edgar.
It seemed that Grace’s words took him quite some time to digest.
When he finally reacted, he couldn’t contain his anger any longer and exclaimed, “You despicable scoundrel! Have you signed a contract to sell yourself? You act subserviently and meekly in front of
